You are supposed to be celibate(if not married) but with all the sex talk in the KH and healthy young

people no wonder most DF are sex related.Just imagine for a week you go without food, and

a stranger walks up and tell you about the nice juicy steak he ate, but no food for you.

What is normal become abnormal in JW world, and what is abnormal become normal (shunning).

I wouldn't be surprise one day the GB interpret or new light, it's ok the have concubines....

The Search: around 10 years ago my daughter came out to visit her mom, they

all (my four kids and family) vacation in Caribbean. My two girls are still JW's, the boys left

we me. So I was happy the kids were together, they had a great time. Two months later my

one son was schedule for a two day business meeting in her state, so he called her and told her he

would love to meet her one day for lunch. She e-mailed him and told him he is not welcome.

I have reservation folks. JW's can be so fickle minded at times.

First of all she told me my JW brother Elder told her she needs to see me, not her decision.

I would hate to call and she told me, dad I only came by because my new husband and your brother encouraged

me to do so.

The most frighten part about all this when she walked in I thought she was my ex-wife, same fake smile,

same speech, body movements it was weird. I know it's silly but my ex was a evil lady.

The main reason I haven't call, if she say something stupid (I only came by because of the pressure),

it will set off my anxiety problems. Over the years I have learned to control my PTSD and don't

want that to start up again. I will give her another month and I will call and if she get weird on me,

OH LORD I will go off..

The year 1974 my friend, fellow elder DF. He was one of the good elders, very kind.

I ask him one day, why? He told me Crisis of Conscience, have you heard of it.

Three years later I was out. Didn't find out about this place until the 90's and the rest is history and

so is JW.org.

The shunning has started and... I like it!

so not having turned in a time-slip in a loooooooong time and making fewer and fewer meetings, and from time to time attending a local church service... the majority of local dubs are overtly shunning me.

there are those who i talk to and who visit our home from time to time, but this last meeting i went to hardly anyone made eye contact, when i greeted folks passing by me, they ignored me.

it actually felt good.. i was surprised at my reaction.

Magwitch: It's so funny when you walk up to A JW and ask them, how are you and

watch them run. My sister- in-law ran off and left her items at the checking stand (Walmart). My wife

ask what was her problem, she looked like a crazy lady.

opposite: That's comical "shunning and I like it". Maybe we are looking at shunning in

the wrong way. Can you imagine asking the elders to shun you. You folks who are sitting on

the fence and dread the day when you may be shun, take the power

away from the elders. I can see a WT article, we have reports of JW's asking to be shunned so what

do we do now. Lets step up to the plate folks, shun me I don't give a damn.

That's the only power they have on most, but if you know it's not truth it's just a matter of time.

so just the other day i happened to look out my window to see the cobe and the elder who studied with me on the doors.

it got me thinking.. i remember one day, during my study that he said he loved me.

although he meant this as a "brother" it actually sent me into, what i can only describe as shock and alarm!
